Edward Flanders Robb Ricketts' Material
This collection includes the various index cards associated with Edward F. Ricketts record keeping system that would allow to organize and cross-reference his findings into a manual. In addition, the collection includes the business index cards associated with Edward F. Ricketts' biological supply business, Pacific Biological Laboratories. The collection also includes Ed Ricketts's specially designed survey cards used to record the marine invertebrates he collected in (1) the Monterey Bay Region (2) Southern California and Northern Mexico, (3) Gulf of California (Mexico) and (4) Queen Charlotte Islands (British Columbia), the approximate location and date.
