- Stanford Against Conscription (SAC), formerly or also known as Students Against the Draft, was a campus group which existed from early 1979 until 1985. A coalition of Stanford groups and individuals concerned and active in opposition to the draft, SAC worked at many levels: campus, the Bay Area, statewide, and nationally. The organization attempted to operate non-heirarchically through the consensus process.
