- Special Collections copy 1: "The typefaces used for the black Haggadah text are Ehrhardt ... The titling type is ... Penumbra. ... The book was printed by Rick De Coyte at Silicon Galelry Fione Art Prints in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, using an ultra-high resolution, eight-color ink jet process on equipment manufactured by Epson. This book is the first edition of this scale ever printed in this manner ... The bindings and boxes were designed by Paul Vogel at Vogel Bindery in East Hampton, New York, and Irene Morris. The bindings for the Haggadah were executed by Paul Vogel. The paste papers were hand-painted by Sage Reynolds ... The bindings for the companion volume were done by Coriander Reisbord in El Cerrito, California. The boxes were created by John Demerritt Bookbinding in Emeryville, California. ... Three hundred numbered copies of the Szyk Haggadah are printed on special Hahnemühle paper, of which eighty-five copies in the Premier binding, accompanied by a portfolio of twelve individual prints, are numbered 1-85; and two-hundred-fifteen copies in the Deluxe binding are numbered 86-300. An additional eighteen copies are hors de commerce. This book is Number 22 to which I, as Publisher, affix my signature: Irvin Ungar"-Volume 1, colophon.
