This paper discusses the effort to archive SLAC's Web.

The Web idea started in 1989 with a proposal from Sir Tim Berners-Lee. The first US website was developed at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center in 1991. This early version of the website and the subsequent updates until 1998 have been preserved by SLAC's archive and history office for many years. In this poster, I illustrate the strategy and techniques to reconstruct this early website and make it available through Stanford's Web Archive Portal.
