The Biblioteca Nazionale di Archeologia e Storia dell'Arte, located in the Palazzo Venezia in Rome, hosts the extraordinary personal collection of engravings, drawings and photographs of archaeologist Rodolfo Lanciani (1845-1929). This unique archive, which remains largely unpublished, comprises almost 15,000 precious items dating from the sixteenth century to the early twentieth century.
