Rodolfo Lanciani Digital Archive

The Biblioteca Nazionale di Archeologia e Storia dell'Arte, located in the Palazzo Venezia in Rome, hosts the extraordinary personal collection of engravings, drawings and photographs of archaeologist Rodolfo Lanciani (1845-1929). This unique archive, which remains largely unpublished, comprises almost 15,000 precious items dating from the sixteenth century to the early twentieth century. The digital version makes available almost 4,500 of the most important documents in the Stanford Digital Repository.
