An encyclopedia entry for the French record label Barclay is presented. It was established as the Blue Star record label in Paris, France by Nicole and Eddie Barclay in February 1945. The record changed its name to Productions Phonographiques Françaises (PPF). Barclay distributed the recordings of important foreign labels such as Verve and Perstige as an established company.
