The electrodynamics of the spin density wave (SDW) state for the parent SrFe2As2 and doped SrCo1.9Fe0.1As2 pnictides were studied by high–pressure infrared spectroscopy at low temperatures. The pressure–temperature phase diagram was established and electronic correlations were calculated from the spectral weight analysis. The infrared properties of EuB6 were studied under high pressure and low temperatures. The plasma frequency was increased substantially with application of high pressure both in paramagnetic and ferromagnetic states. The ratio of the plasma frequencies for ferromagnetic to the paramagnetic states were calculated at 100 K and 5 K. The calculated ωp, 5K / ωp, 100K ratio decreases with increasing pressure. This means that the magnetic blue shift is diminishing with increasing pressure, which is a remarkable agreement with the earlier calculations done by Kunes et al  and Kim et al . Die Elektrodynamik des Spindichtewellen-Zustandes (SDW) der Stammverbindung SrFe2As2 und des dotierten SrCo1.9Fe0.1As2 Pniktids wurde mittels Infrarotspektroskopie unter hohen Drücken und tiefen Temperaturen untersucht. Das Druck-Temperatur-Phasendiagramm wurde ermittelt und die elektronischen Korrelationen aus der Analyse des spektralen Gewichts berechnet. Die Infraroteigenschaften von EuB6 wurden unter hohen Drücken und tiefen Temperaturen untersucht. Die Plasmafrequenz wurde durch Applizierung von Druck sowohl im paramagnetischen als auch im ferromagnetischen Zustand deutlich erhöht. Das Verhältnis der Plasmafrequenzen im paramagnetischen und ferromagnetischen Zustand wurde bei 100 K und 5 K berechnet. Das berechnete ωp, 5K / ωp, 100K-Verhältnis verringert sich mit zunehmendem Druck. Das bedeutet, dass die magnetische Blauverschiebung mit zunehmendem Druck abnimmt, was durch frühere Berechnungen von Kunes et al.  und Kim et al.  bestätigt wird.

Anti-Ma2 associated paraneoplastic syndrome usually presents as limbic encephalitis in association with testicular tumours.1, 2 Only four patients have been reported with involvement outside the CNS, two of whom also had limbic or brainstem encephalitis.2, 3 We report a man with anti- Ma2 associated myeloradiculopathy and previous testicular cancer whose neurological syndrome stabilised and anti-Ma2 titres fell following orchidectomy of a microscopically normal testis.

Wavelength Division Multiplexed switching networks are considered as an important candidate for the future transport networks. As the size of network increases conventional methods used in teletraffic theory to model these networks become computationally difficult to handle as the state space grows exponentially. In this research we have applied overflow analysis to model these networks. Our results show that moment analyses using equivalent random theory (ERT) results in accurate approximations for the modeling of WDM switching networks.

The objective of this paper is to develop an educational framework, using data mining technologies, with the help of dynamic web technologies that will be used by teachers to organize the course contents on the web according to existing infrastructure, experience, needs, reorganizing it later on if necessary, depending upon the performance of students. The approach to organizing the lecture contents is based on adaptive learning theory, incorporating a Problem Based Learning (PBL) strategy. Presently, course syllabus and handouts on web sites provided to the student are static in nature. Once distributed, these documents cannot be changed or modified, and lack depth. When course materials are placed on the web, students can select a topic in the course outline and look at the description of a topic, and required reading assignments. Instructors can easily change schedules in these on-line documents and inform the students via e-mail. Students can also submit assignments, projects and take-home exams electronically. A course home page comprises a syllabus, assignments, projects and exams, readings and references, class presentation charts and student handouts. Students on a course are mostly assessed based on questions such as Why, How, What, etc. In this way, a student can be graded and ranked, which in turn provides the feedback to the student for future improvement and challenges. Most such web sites are implemented on the theory of constructivism. Constructivists propose that the construction for new knowledge starts from one’s observations of events through previous experiences. Hence, learning is the integration of new knowledge and behaviours into a framework and subsequently recalling relevant events in the appropriate situation. This theory is also applied in our educational framework.

this paper presents a very interactive, innovative and rarely used multi touch surface. The most attractive factor in this surface is that it can sense more than one contact at a time. Different techniques are being used for the construction of this IR touch surface. The technique which we have used to build multi touch is LED-LP (LED Light Plane) technique. A very useful and cost efficient technique as compared to other techniques. All the techniques are based on IR source. Calibration factor is the most important factor for sensing. The basic motivation behind the choice of ultra wide band based antennas in wireless communication systems is there expedient feeding structure, wide bandwidth along with uncomplicated structure and low cost. Ultra Wideband wireless communication systems are not only serving in enabling applications like wireless monitors, wireless printers and efficient transfer of data from digital electronic devices but this standard is also finding its application in transfer of files among handheld devices such as personal digital assistants and especially for the mobile handsets. With every passing day handheld devices are miniaturizing which has given rise to the need of development of flexible antenna structures. This paper serves to present the design of a two layer monopole antenna with a physically flexible design in order to facilitate the small design and different shapes of the handheld device, under consideration.
