NOVELISTS, INFLUENCE (Literary, artistic, etc.), SENTIMENTALISM in literature, FASCISM & literature, and GAY clubs
Abstract
An interview with novelist Larry Mitchell is presented. He asserts that his writing career was influenced by fellow novelist Christopher Isherwood. He says that his writing about AIDS was his artistic choice and he always considered sentimentality as the major emotion of fascism. He views that gay organizations have a very little sense of productive outrage or the need for anger.
