INTERNET access, GIGABIT Ethernet, RASPBERRY Pi, ARM microprocessors, and COMPUTER simulation
Wireless support is increasingly needed in embedded applications as customers look to access the benefits of the internet of things (IoT). Wireless connectivity provides the easiest path to the cloud as there is no need to run cables to each device and smart protocols such as Bluetooth make it easy to set up devices from practically anywhere. Farnell has a rich portfolio of platforms available that support wireless connectivity, ranging from prototyping kits to off-the-shelf SBCs. [Extracted from the article]

PRODUCT design, COMPUTER simulation, METAL oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors, FIELD-effect transistors, and METAL oxide semiconductors
The article reports that Vishay Intertechnology Inc. has released a web-based simulation tool, named ThermaSim, that models how its metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors will perform thermally and be affected by adjacent component. It enables the designers to perform detailed thermal simulations before prototyping.
