The general arrangement, principle of operation, and basic technical characteristics of pyroelectric noncontact local-temperature meter with nonmechanical (electronic) modulation of infrared radiation operating in the range 300-800°C are described. The device is intended for measuring the temperature of solid bodies inside vacuum assemblies. The meter can be used in the systems used to control and adjusting various technological processes (laser and electric welding, plasma and zonal melting) and also for diagnosing the temperature of the almost in accessible objects (furnaces, engines, high-voltage equipment, etc.). We consider the effect of magnetic potential well interaction for example of two superconducting coils. This effect makes it possible to realize contactless stable suspension of one of these coils. Force characteristics of the suspension along the coaxiality axis were considered depending on coils sizes and parameters of setting into operation conditions. We proposed the method of registration of displacement of a levitating coil by means of current measuring in another immovable coil. It was shown that the considered suspension is unstable. In order to provide stability we propose modification of structure of the levitating coil. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
