Topics discussed include the use of research groups and labs as part of this education, student-centered initiatives, and schools and centres involved in this education including Carleton University's Immersive Media Studio (CIMS), McGill University's School of Architecture, and the University of Manitoba's Centre for Architectural Structures and Technology (CAST).
BUSINESS partnerships, PRINTING software, and THREE-dimensional imaging
This article reports on the partnership formed by Objet Geometries Ltd., the Israeli-based leader in three-dimensional (3D) printing for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing, and Canadian software developer Javelin Technologies to distribute Objet three-dimensional (3D) printing solutions in Canada. Details are presented on the terms of the deal. Also provided are comments from Frank Marangell of Objet regarding the agreement.
