Includes more than five-hundred pamphlets from the River Plate region. The earliest publications date from the late colonial period and progress into the post-Rosas era defined by the presidents Domingo Faustino Sarmiento and Bartolome Mitre. Some documents belonged to Lorenze Lopez, a deputy of Buenos Aires in the early Republican period. These and others were collected by the Argentinean writer Luis Lopez Dominguez (1810-98). He was a political journalist, historian, politician and ambassador.
