An orchestra conductor/composer takes a job in vaudeville to enable his daughter to marry, but the fiance's father sees his act and breaks the engagement. The conductor develops a nervous disorder from the strain and the doctors decide a severe shock will cure him. The daughter & a booking agent arrange for an orchestra to play the conductor's own symphony in a open-air theatre, with happy results.
