Album contains 119 uncaptioned black and white photographs and 3 copy negatives of Mexico, most of which are commercial shots with some copy photos. Many of the photos appear to illustrate events related to the Cananea mine strike, including one shot of Colonel William Greene speaking to strikers. Images feature local people and families, many of whom appear to be very poor; school and schoolchildren, primarily white; various individual adn group studio portraits; barrack-style housing and other mine buildings; street scenes of unidentified cities; soldiers on march and in camps; a funeral; hanged men on a tree; white men and women in front of homes, possibly on a ranch, and on various outings; group of men with survey equipment. Last few pages of album include photos taken in Denver, Colorado of a Knights Templar Grand Commandery parade. [From dealer description]
