This collection of 1,181 Franco-Jewish pamphlets includes full text of sermons given by notable rabbis, treatises on Jewish customs and traditions, articles and observations concerning anti-Semitism, Zadoc Kahn's speeches from the 1890s. Covering the mid-1800s up to the 1920s, these pamphlets portray the cultural, spiritual and religious life of Jews in Paris as well as in the French colonies of North Africa. For the most part in French, there are a small number of pamphlets in English, German, Hebrew Italian and Latin.
