The first of Skolimowski's semi-autobiographical Andrzej Leszczyc films. Rysopis revolves around a day in the life of Andrzej Leszczyc. His dog has been bitten by a rabid dog, his mistress is discontented, the conscription board has finally caught up with him and because he's dropped out of the university, he's going to do two years in the navy.
In Walkower, Andrzej Leszczyc is now a 30 yr.-old amateur boxer who makes a scant living as a prizefighter. A former college buddy helps the fighter get an engineering job. When he learns that his factory has a boxing team, he eagerly signs up. During a major fight he wins because his opponent never shows up. Later the other fighter shows up demanding part of the money because he was told to throw the fight. They end up in a fight and the older fighter is badly beaten.
Bariera concerns a newly graduated medical student in his pursuit of an unattainable woman. He follows her through the streets of 60s Poland where spontaneous dance parties and candle-light rituals erupt.
In Ręce do góry, a group of former medical students (including Leszczyc) meet at a reunion. The five confront the past during a trip to visit a missing classmate. The film begins with a sci-fi motif: abstract images and electronic music takes the viewer from ruins of Lebanon to London street scenes, and has a later framing story about the stop-and-start production of the film.

Iluminacja follows the education of a young man from his entry into college to his final achievement of a doctorate. Paralleling his outer education, his inner education about life, family, sexuality and spiritual values is revealed. By the time he achieves his doctorate, he has been told that he has a life-shortening heart disease. However, because of his two-fold education, he is fulfilled in what he has done and is not much distressed.

Set in the mountains of southeastern Poland, portrays the desperate lives of a group of outcast men who drive deadly roads in trucks loaded with timber.

A bachelor architect's life is turned upside down when he discovers he has a daughter and finds himself falling in love.

With a contract to perform a drag show way out in the Australian desert, Tick, Adam and Ralph each has his own reason for wanting to leave the safety of Sydney. Christening their battered, pink tour bus "Priscilla," this wickedly funny and high-drama trio heads for the outback and into crazy adventures in even crazier outfits.

Last day of summer -- A beautiful, reflexive film about two lost and lonely people, who treat their meeting at a deserted beach as their last hope. But the burden of their recent war experiences and personal dramas is an obstacle in finding their way towards each other.

Saragossa manuscript -- A magical text is discovered during the Napoleonic Wars by a pair of opposing soldiers. Capt. Worden lives out the book's intricate, devilish story as he embarks on a journey across scenic Spain.
Kights of the black cross -- A portrayal of Polish medieval life and customs focusing on the days leading up to battle of Grunwald (1410), which was a major victory of a civilized Slavonic nation over German invaders. The film also features a romance between Zbyszko of Bogdaniec, a dashing knight, and Daniusia, a handmaiden to a princess.
Austeria -- On the first day of World War I, a group of Jews flee from the Cossack army in Polish Galicia and finds itself trapped overnight in a border inn. Relationships develop, love affairs are formed, the religious pray.
Night train -- Jerzy, a man running from the authorities, and Marta, who's trying to escape her spurned lover, end up in the same sleeper berth on an overnight train. Passengers become a frenzied rumor-fueled lynch mob when police board looking for an escaped killer.
