"The Anti-Eviction Mapping Project is a data-visualization, data analysis, and storytelling collective documenting the dispossession of San Francisco Bay Area residents upon gentrifying landscapes. Through digital maps, oral history work, film, murals, and community events, the project renders connections between the nodes and effects of new entanglements of global capital, real estate, high tech, and political economy. It studies the displacement of people but also of complex social worlds as certain spaces become desirable to such entanglements. Maintaining antiracist and feminist analyses as well as decolonial methodology, the project creates tools and disseminates data that contributes to collective resistance and movement building."--About window.

Government Information: State and Local
The ca.gov domain is the 3rd largest domain in the U.S. government web. A great deal of that content is published by the State of California, and represents a rich source of material for researchers, students, the general public and state agencies themselves. This archive preserves access to hundreds of state agency sites that are captured on a regular basis. State agencies utilize their websites to publish everything from press releases, agendas, minutes, events, reports and statistics. This material is especially volatile as leadership changes or as time sensitive issues are no longer on agendas or in the news. This information while not distributed in print still holds immense social and research value, which we as memory institutions have an obligation to collect and preserve. By collecting and preserving this information, the study of issues in California, the world's fourth largest economy, will be greatly enhanced. The archive is maintained by government information specialists across several UC campuses and the Stanford University Libraries with support from the California Digital Library.

Government Information: State and Local
This database contains inclusionary housing policies, e.g. ordinances, zoning, or information from General Plans Housing Elements, for cities and counties in California. The database provides summaries of policy characteristics for each city and county. Users may search for these summaries by geographical location, jurisdiction name or by more than 30 other characteristics or criteria. For example, users can use our geographical portal to search for jurisdictions with an inclusionary housing policy within specific counties, regions or the entire state. Alternatively, users could search for inclusionary housing policies based on common characteristics such all jurisdictions with population between 50,000 and 100,000 that have mandatory ordinances, require 15% to 20% of units be affordable to low- and moderate-income households, and allow land dedications or payment of in-lieu fees. In addition, each summary provides a link to the jurisdiction's full policy. A glossary defines key terms.
