Summary: In the summer of 2010, people from Latvia who were sent to Siberia as children in 1941, their children and filming group went to the Far North -- Norilsk, Dudink, Karaul, Ustport. More than 500,000 prisoners of different nationalities have gone through the Siberian camps.

Summary: The "Latvian operation" was ordered by Nikolai Ezhov on November 30, 1937. As a result, 22 360 people were arrested, 74% were executed. Although the main goal of the operation were Latvians, the citizens of the USSR, who were accused of espionage for Latvia, other nationalities were victims as well. The most innocent people suffered only by being Latvian in the Soviet Union. The heroes of the film are victims of the 1937 repressions who live in Moscow, Kemerovo, Krasnoiarsk and in Latvia.
