It is a rich and voluminous online reference source for historical and general linguists. Dictionaries can be cross-searched, with an advance search for each individual dictionary enabling the user to perform more complex research queries. Each entry is accompanied by grammatical info, meaning(s), etymological commentary, reconstructions, cognates and often extensive bibliographical information."

Official archival database for Broadway theater information. Features information on current and past productions in the Broadway theaters of New York City, including production statistics, dates, cast, crew and creative staff credits, roles, and related facts.
"According to the IBDB Web site, this resource offers a 'comprehensive database of shows produced on Broadway [dating from the 1700's to the present], including all 'title page' [program] information about each production. IBDB also offers historical information about theaters and various statistics and fun facts related to Broadway.' Simple search allows you to search by show, people/organization, theatre, and season, while advanced search allows many more options including function (director, actor, playwright, etc.), gender, opening and closing dates, character name and more. From serious research to more trivial pursuits, the IBDB is a excellent source for Broadway production information"--"Best Free Reference Web Sites 2002." The beta-test installation of the database under PhiloLogic3 contains 1960 documents (see below). The verse and prose works include early masters of Italian literature like Dante, Petrarch, and Boccaccio, as well as lesser-known and obscure texts by poets, merchants, and medieval chroniclers."--Home page.
