DataCite Metadata Search is a service that allows people to search for datasets registered with DataCite, via the metadata associated with the datasets. Data-Cite is a not-for-profit organisation whose aim is to establish easier access to research data on the Internet, increase acceptance of research data as legitimate, citable contributions to the scholarly record, and support data archiving that will permit results to be verified and re-purposed for future study. Just as research is global, DataCite is global, with member institutions offering services and advice directly where they are needed by the researchers.
Dimensions is a large citation and abstract database that covers all subject areas and provides free access to more than 95 million citations from research publications. Dimensions Plus, a fee-based service, integrates citations with a global grants database, clinical trials from a range of international registries, worldwide coverage of patents, plus data metrics and trends in order to provide a broad view of the research process and the research community.
Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE) is a peer-reviewed online journal publishing visualized (video-based) research in general, neuroscience, immunology & infection, clinical & translational medicine, bioengineering, applied physics, chemistry, behavior, and environment. Indexed in PubMed.

The Protocol Exchange is an open resource where the community of scientists pool their experimental know-how to help accelerate research. The Protocol Exchange strives to facilitate rapid and unencumbered distribution of protocols for scientific research. We welcome Protocols from any branch of science however we focus particularly on Protocols being used to answer outstanding biological and biomedical science research questions, which includes methods grounded in physics and chemistry with a practical application to the study of biological problems.
The Protocol Exchange is an Open Repository for the deposition and sharing of protocols for scientific research. These protocols are posted directly on the Protocol Exchange by their authors and hence have not been further styled, peer reviewed or copy edited. Rather they are made freely available to the scientific community for use and comment.
