The British Education Index is an independent subject and author index to the contents of significant education journals published in the UK. It began life in the early 1960s as a simple author and subject index to the contents of educational journals published in the UK, and has now expanded to include over 150,000 records to journal articles, conferences and conference papers, research reports and electronic texts, from sources such as websites and educational repositories.

The California NGO search engine is a compilation of Web sites from non-profits, community based organizations (CBOs), policy institutes, research centers, and think tanks conducting and publishing research on issues of concern to the state of California. It is a growing search engine with 758 included sites as of July, 2012. Organizations included in the search focus primarily on the following areas: Community and Economic Development; Criminal Justice; Education; Energy; Environment; Health; Housing and Homelessness; Human Rights; Labor and Workplace issues; Planning and Land Use; Poverty; Public Interest Law; Science and Technology; Social Services; Transportation; Water; Urban design; Urban studies; Voting and Elections. Provides a single portal for the discovery of European Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) DART-Europe is a partnership of over 550 research libraries and library consortia in 28 countries who are working together to improve global access to European research theses. The portal is a searchable database of electronic research theses held in European repositories. The theses listed are open access - publicly available, in full, without charge. The DART-Europe Portal does not store theses, but it provides a link to at least one electronic copy of every thesis listed in its database.
