The first series of the Stansky papers consists of three different sections, each representing a distinct academic activity he was involved with: his committee involvement, his publishing activities, and his library correspondence. His committee work ranged from Academic Senate, the Drama Department, the English Department, the Land and Building Committee, and the Foreign Campus Sub-Committee which was centered in Cliveden, England. An addition made in 2003 consists of two scrapbooks on Stansky's career, 1960-69. Accession 2015-167 contains materials from Stansky's early education, family letters, and research about Marina Alandra Vaizey. Accession 2017-060 contains research files for Stansky's book “Edward Upward: Art and Life.”
