This collection consists of a portfolio of 75 20" x 24" plates of photographs and text. There are 68 plates of photographs taken by Dennis Witmer from 1988 to 2009, depicting Alaskan landscapes. The photograph versos include title, date, and other information. There are 7 plates of text including the title, an afterword by Robert Adams, list of images with descriptions, and acknowledgements. There are also 2 optical discs which contain a digital version of the “Alaska As the Measure” photo portfolio as well as a collection of photo books, one of which is “Alaska as the Measure.”
