"Presents information about ongoing and completed BOEM ESP studies. The new search tool allows text and map-based queries to find relevant study information. Study information includes downloadable electronic documents of study profiles, technical summaries, and final reports, and links to associated publications and digital data. The ESPIS search tool is hosted on a shared platform with MarineCadastre.gov, which is developed in partnership with the NOAA Office for Coastal Management." MarineCadastre.gov is an integrated marine information system that provides authoritative, up-to-date data, tools, and technical support for ocean and Great Lakes planning. MarineCadastre.gov was created to comply with Section 388 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 but is also providing the geospatial framework needed for the broader marine spatial planning initiative called for in President Obama’s National Ocean Policy. MarineCadastre.gov has three primary focus areas: Web map viewers and decision-support tools, a spatial data registry, and technical support and regional capacity-building.--BOEM data and information systems page.

Provides a comparative analysis of CO2 emissions from fossil fuel combustion, a major source of anthropogenic emissions. The data are designed to assist in understanding the evolution of these emissions on a country, regional and worldwide basis. Data are included from 1960 for most OECD countries and from 1971- for all other countries. Emissions were calculated using IEA energy databases and the default methods and emissions factors from the Revised 1996 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories. Users can build statistical tables based on specific variables, view and print reports as multidimensional tables or graphs, and download statistical data in IVT, XLS and CSV formats for use with Beyond 20/20's statistical software, Microsoft Excel or other programs.
