An assortment of zines, chapbooks, and other publications from small and independent presses scattered throughout Argentina. Writers and artists gained international recognition by disrupting the traditional publishing model through the use of recycled cardboard and paper to produce cartoneras. Many of the zines are illustrated in black and white and staplebound; these titles are focused on capturing and challenging day-to-day routines with surrealistic drawings. Many of the chapbooks are dedicated to poems that are both visual and self-reflexive.
