In the second half of the century, the Caliphate discussions formed one of the main items of the printed agenda between the years 1922-1926 in the context of the resolutions of the Ottoman Empire and the emergence of the new Turkish state and the decisions taken in Ankara regarding the establishment of the Caliphate in this process. First, the elimination of the Caliphate from the reign, and therefore from the political power, and the complete abolition of this step by not being enough, and the complete abolition of Egypt in the Islamic world as well as in the religious and political aspects. Why? In this endeavor, the view that Egypt, which was introduced by many Egyptian intellectuals as the heart of the Arab-Islamic world, should have a decisive role in the future of the Khilafah has come to the fore. This research tries to reveal which issues have been dealt with in the framework of the discussions of the three major publications of the Egyptian press, al-Mawar al-Mawatti and Al-Mukattem, in the framework of the debate on the Khilafah.
