State of Rhode-Island and Providence Plantations. In General Assembly, July 2d session, 1780. [electronic resource] : Whereas notwithstanding the provision made in an act passed by this Assembly, at the last session, for bringing six hundred and ten men into the field, to recruit the continental battalions raised by this state, there appears, by the return of the adjutant-general, dated the twenty-first of this inst. July, to be the following deficiencies in the quotas of men heretofore assigned to the towns hereafter named, to wit:
