Summary:
Tari Piring incorporates everyday movements, such as work in the rice fields and the preparation of food. Tari Alang is condensed from a ceremonial dance, but the movements incorporate symbolic reflections of nature combined with forms of Pentjak Silat, the Indonesion art of self defense.
